Other Problems

Logan lie there in a daze. He was still adjusting to his new surroundings, and getting used to being locked away in a vampire's basement. He had nothing. Well, at least the monster gave him an old lounge chair, and a toilet . . that was it.

His mind kept replaying the events that led to him being there. Victoria's father finding them, and bringing him here. He sighed. At least he had one more night with Victoria though. It was a night like no other, that was for sure. He loved her. He couldn't seem to think of anything else. At least he had something to think about during his long despair.

Soon her heard the someone coming down the stairs, relieved to find it being Victoria. "I've brought you some cereal," she said, carefully handing it to him through the bars. He ate in silence, with Victoria still closely watching him. "Why did you never tell me?" he asked her. "I was afraid if I told you about my father--my life--you might have nothing to do with me. I can't do without you, Logan." Tears swelled in her eyes before she continued, "I'm sorry I've gotten you into this mess. Sorry that you've met me. All I ever do is make things worse-" "No," he said, coming forward and reaching his hand to her cheek between the bars. "I love you. I'm glad I've met you. I don't know where I'd be if I hadn't." She scoffed. "You'd be out of here, that's where." She turned and left, leaving him there again.

Victoria's POV

After leaving Logan in the cell, which I didn't want to do, I went upstairs and drank some plasma juice to finish getting ready for the school day. My mind was racing with thoughts about our situation. I couldn't leave Logan down there all alone in misery. Knowing Dad he'll probably kill him . . But how could I free him? I didn't have the key, and Dad usually made sure it was sealed tight.

I probably shouldn't have, but I took a nap before school. I ended up waking up at like 9 .a.m. and was a little late for school---not that anyone cared or noticed. I was pretty quick with it came to school work. Not only was I naturally smart, but being a vampire allowed me to catch onto skills a whole lot faster. Teachers sometimes let me skip whole assignments and just put 100% on them, because I would only master them anyways.

Reader POV

While she was gone to school, Logan had finally fallen asleep. It took a while, and he was very uncomfortable, but eventually his eyes became too heavy for him to stand.

Blake was also very exhausted, and slept.

Unfortunately, after that the boy got no mercy. "So you're after my daughter, ey?" Blake grumbled. "Your daughter? It's hard to believe she's even remotely related to a monster like you," Logan defiantly said. "Watch your tongue, boy, before you lose it," Blake said moving closer and slapping him around a bit.

As close as he was, Blake could smell the fearful blood of Logan. "You may not do any good to my family," Blake said, "but you could possibly offer me something in return for your ignorance." Logan looked up at him, with a shocked look, right before Blake penetrated Logan's neck with powerful fangs.

"NO!" Victoria yelled, as she burst into tears outside the cell. She had to watch the horrific scene, and could do nothing to stop it. She was helpless. "No, please, let him go," she whispered. Blake laughed. "How can you feel for this human?" he asked, letting Logan's unconscious body fall to the floor. "I l-love him, D-daddy," she mumbled. Her father snorted, feeling nothing but spiteful toward his daughter. He opened the gate and closed it behind him before going upstairs.

When he came to, Victoria was still there. He straightened himself, trying to concentrate on her rather than the pain in his neck. "I think we have a problem," she whispered to him. He looked at her. "Of course we have a d*mn problem, I'm locked away in your dad's basement!" She sighed. "No, I mean a different problem," she said. She gripped her stomach and closed her eyes. "Logan, I think I'm pregnant."

Envy

I couldn't help but be with him. Right now, he was my life. Probably my only life for all eternity, or at least so long as he lived. I grew up knowing what I was, who I was, and what I had to deal with. When I was with him, I tried to keep nothing from him, and to stay with him for so long as I could. It was nearly impossible, considering I had to hide these things.

Blake Ashen, my dad (who has aged over the course of my life), would never allow it. Specifically because my boyfriend is a human, something my evil dad despises. I honestly don't see the harm in them. They're nice, and sweet. They may not have heightened senses, large strength, powers, or fierce glowing eyes, but they are at least something. They're not cold, and they have feeling. They are vampire's opposites. My opposite. But how was I supposed to help it? I often find myself wondering about just that, though never voice my opinion. "Dad" would kill me . . . literally.

After Dylan moved out, Dad disposed of Dylan's mother and moved us to a new house. It was smaller, and darker. It wasn't a castle, and it a few modern items. It took a while for me to adapt to the new environment though because nearly all my live I had grown up with his Medieval things. It was a BIG change, but in the end I liked it better.

I never know what he's thinking. It drives me insane. All he usually does is sit there . . . That is, until Dartay comes home. Dartay is definitely my daddy's favorite. He doesn't make it a secret in the least.

It was often that I would hear him on the phone with Dartay, talking about their life. Mainly their comments consisted of Dartay's mom, Ivy McKnight, but other times of me. I hated it. I would sometimes catch bits of "Your half-blood of a sister-" this and "Your half-blood of a sister-" that. I found it so odd though, how he called me a half-blood, though I had never met or even SEEN my mom. Dylan's seen his, Dartay had hers, but I didn't. So far Dartay was the only full-blood around. That must be why Dad is always so happy to see her when she was able to come down.

One conversation did happen to catch my eye though. I felt guilty for eavesdropping, but I couldn't seem to walk away.

    • Dartay: "I have news, and your not going to like it."
Blake: "What do you mean 'news'?"
Dartay: "As you know mother dragged me along for christmas with her family, useless bunch of humans..."
      Blake: "I know the feeling . ."
Dartay: "Anyways she also brought Mason and the brat."
      Blake: "I despise that man."
Dartay: "I can not fathom how she could chose him over you."
      Blake: "Neither can I sweetheart."
Dartay: "I mean I get it, she loves him, but she had to at least have loved you at some point right? You treated her like a queen and she thew it way for him?"
Dartay: "I think I got side tracked"
      Dartay: "The news I had . ."
    • Blake: "She did. Or at least I thought she did . . Anyways, what were you saying?"
      Dartay: "He's proposed to her"
Blake: "That's typical of him.. For some reason i can't help but hear a 'but' in that sentence. Is your mother going through with it? Surely not." Dad growled. I could tell he was already mad, so I couldn't help but listen further.
Dartay: "If only, but unfortunetly it seems she is."
Blake: "When is the wedding scheduled?"
He said it quite forcefully, but only to get an answer out of her. She probably would have told him anyways.
Dartay: "Valentines day, ugh, so original."
Her voice was sarcastic. Don't you just LOVE them?
Blake: "Cheesy. Do you know where it is, sweet heart?"
Dartay: "Some place in Hidden Springs, I believe its called Cascata Park or something like that."
      Blake: "I see. . ."
Dartay: "And I agree, it is quite cheesy, but then no one ever thought to give him points for originality." The pair laughed.
Blake: "Are you going to be present?"
Dartay: "Most likely , I must admit it does seem quite romantic."
She sighed. Like me, Dartay is a big hopeless romantic.
Blake: "In that case, I can't wait to see you there."
      Dartay: "Really? Alright. Me neither."

      Blake's POV

They never knew it but I was indeed there. I watched them closely, with envy even. What they had was perfect. What they had was what I would have had with Elvira, or Ivy even. Unfortunately Elvira turned me into the monster I was today, forcing me to stalk the streets nightly for my next meal. Ivy . . . . Oh Ivy. How I loved her so. But she left me for that Mason guy. I was alone all again, except for that Vampire-hunter's child (Victoria). She was all I had left. Unless you counted Dartay, the heiress to my throne. She truly is her father's daughter. She is so similar to me, I bet she drives Ivy insane. Still Mason attempts to win my daughter over, and it will never happen. Not so long as I am alive. She is my daughter.

Then they shared a kiss. I suppose that was what made me break, but finally I couldn't stand in silence any longer. I finally came out of the shadows to face them. "Victoria!" I screamed, breaking the long silence that surrounded them.

The couple broke apart, the boy staring at me in horror. I scoffed. "So you admit to him what you are, but forget to leave out the details of your family? Shame." The boy gave a questioning glance at Victoria, who glared back at me. "Why would I ever mention you? You are NOTHING but scum that we walk on. You're a monster."

Her words stung. I knew they were true. Deep down they were true. I couldn't accept it, especially not from her. I raised a hand to her, ready to strike, "Don't you ever sass me, young lady." Suddenly the boy leaped in front of her. I rolled my eyes. "If you do wish to contain your head, boy, I suggest you move." He shook his head, and my fist nearly reached his chin. But something stopped it. I looked up, surprised to see Victoria holding my fist in her own. "Please don't hurt him, Daddy!" she pleaded with me. Her eyes swelled with tears. I felt-almost felt- sympathetic to her. To that human of a boyfriend to her. Those pink eyes of her, nearly like mine, convinced me to spare him, if only for a little while.

Since I didn't have a holding place for my prisoners at the moment, I allowed him to stay in Victoria's room with her. She was very protective of him, I admit. She must have known it wouldn't last long . . .

The End! :o

~~ GAME SCREWUP!

Yes, this is what I had for you, right before my game screwed up. It made it to where she (100 baby challenge) couldn't have children because they wouldn't finish the action. I removed all mods, CC, and it still wouldn't work. I tried resetSim and EVERYTHING I knew to get it working again, and yet it refused. So I had to uninstall! Unfortunately for you guys, getting my game working again is more important to me than blogging about it. :\ Maybe my game wanted to forever be a cliff-hanger!?

So, considering this, I lost all saves because stupid me didn't put the non-edited by mods save files somewhere. :( Sorry guys..

A Surprising Twist!

Blake was talking to Ivy McKnight on his cell phone that day. He heard that she was pregnant and even growing quite close to a young fellow named Mason. Blake didn't like the idea of his former Queen going steady with another, and even confronted her about it.

Blake "So what's this about you and Mason?"
Ivy "Leave him out of this. How did you find me?"
Blake hissed. "Is this why you left me, for a human? I have my ways. I can find anyone. So what is this I hear, you're pregnant?"
Ivy "No I left because you told me you didn't care about those vampires attacking my mother! And he's not human. He's born vampire, so stronger than you. Did I never tell you that born vampires are automatically stronger than turned ones such as yourself? I didn't find out until recently, and how was I supposed to notify you about it when you're in that big castle!"
Blake "I could take him. You could've found me. Either way, I moved from that old castle. I moved to a smaller version."
Ivy "And what of the servents and slaves?"
Blake "I kept one slave." He grinned.
Ivy "What happened to that white-haired woman we had prisoned?"
Blake looked down at Victoria, the baby resulting from the woman Ivy mentioned.
Blake "Oh I took care of her. She didn't have much fight left in her." He tickled his daughter with a pale and bony finger. She giggled and looked up at her father with big bright pink eyes.
Ivy "So what should we name the baby?"
Blake "If that's suitable."
Ivy "I like Dartay."
Blake thought it over for a minute, knowing that would be for a son or daughter.
Blake "I do too." Blake sighed and hit the end button. How could he deal with having Ivy's son/daughter, the true heir, running around? Victoria and Dylan could never take the throne, since their blood isn't fully royal. Though he needed the heir here with him, so he could live and grow up into his birth-rite. Ivy wouldn't allow single-custody, he knew. He would have to share.

Blake put Victoria in her crib beside his throne.

He glared at his son and gripped his arm harshly. He pulled him up from the throne chair and glared at him. His son shot back the same cold stare.
Blake "Dylan, how many times have I told you!? No sitting on my throne. You will never sit on it in your life."
Dylan "You can't keep me from my birth-rite! I'm the first born. So when you die, it's mine, Old Man."
Blake "Actually, it's your brother's or sister's."
Dylan "Brother? Are you delusional? Victoria isn't first born, so ha!"
Blake "Boy, I could dispose of you like your good-for-nothing-mother!"

Elaine, Dylan's mother, knew all too well what Blake said he could do, was true. She feared for her son's life, even if she never meant for his life to be lived at all. She loved her son, but knew with him as a rebellious vampire-child, he hardly had a spot for her. She watched their argument continue on.
Dylan "And you think I care what you do to that human?"
Blake smirked. Good traits for a heir to have, too bad Dylan couldn't be heir with a full-blood alive.
Blake "I think you'll be happy to know that Ivy is pregnant with a full-blood."
Dylan's mouth gaped open. He knew what that meant.

Elaine was hurt by her son's words, but knew that that wouldn't give her a reason to stop working. She had even more work now because of the lack of other slaves and servents. She hoped to get more help soon. She sighed and picked the apples from their limbs. She could hardly believe how long she'd been here, and how she got in this situation. Maybe one day she could be set free. She smiled.

Dylan went out to the little corral they had beside the castle. He sat down on the bright green grass and looked down at the small pony next to him. He smiled and stuck out his arms, wrapping them around the animal's neck. "At least you're here for me," he said. "I don't really hate Mom, but sometimes Dad can be so cruel. I wonder if she knows that?" he sighed. "I can't afford to show any weakness toward my unclaimed father." He squinted his eyes in disgust and looked the pony in it's deep brown orbs. He hugged it again and petted it's muzzle. "At least you're here for me," Dylan repeated.

Victim 2: Hunters and Hunted

Technically, Ivy McKnight wasn't Queen just yet. She needed to marry Blake Ashen to do that, and luckily for her, Blake proposed. They set a marriage date, and it wasn't too far away.
Blake "We need to go back to our to our old ways, Ivy." Ivy was quite content with their new life, but didn't really care as to what happened.
Ivy "Fine. Do as you wish." Blake smiled and pulled her into a kiss. She leaned against him in unison. Ivy seemed to actually be falling for him, and didn't care. She was his, and he was hers. They could rule together, and dominate all side-by-side.

Ivy's acceptance to their "old ways" was the only reason Blake gathered some slaves and made them build a village. Their old ways were during the Medieval times, when vampires thrived. Witches were being killed, but nobody quite recognized vampires just yet.

The servents' work was going really well, even on the stables! The horses looked very happy and healthy, and that made Blake unusually happy. He loved horses, despite his angry nature.

Blake "Our Queen has decided your fate. You shall be a servant. Now go! To the fields, to start your work." He pointed to the now unlocked cell door. He watched her go, and then went to the stables to pet the horses. "Ah, a King's work is never done."

Elaine didn't try to escape the boundaries of the village, she knew it would be no use. It was better than being locked up in that small cell, though. At least she could breath fresh air. There were a few others that suffered the same fate as she, and she just now realized that. Though she was the only one baring a scarred face. She hated her new clothes that she was forced to wear. Why did they have to be all Medieval anyways? It's modern nowadays, it was better this way.

Blake was still petting the horses when Ivy turned up beside him. She was stunning in her new Medieval Queen outfit, and he stared for a while. She seemed not to notice he was there and started stroking the horse adoringly.
Blake "Do you like horses, Ivy?"
Ivy "Yes."
Blake "Would you like to go riding with me, Maiden?" He saw her blush again.
Ivy "I would like that." Blake saw her glistening fanged smile. He shot her a charming smile. "But who will watch the servants?" Someone came up behind them.
Person "I will." They both turned, and what Blake saw made his jaw drop.

Blake "Grandmama!" Blake rushed her into a hug, she smiled and chuckled as she pulled back. "When did you get here?"
Arileen "I've been living in the kindgom, Son." Blake motioned to Ivy, who curtsied.
Blake "Grandma, this is Ivy. She's my Fiance."
Arileen "Oh. Am I getting great-grandchildren any time soon?" Blake looked at Ivy, who smiled.
Blake "Perhaps."
Arileen "Congratulations to you both! Now, I'll watch your servants. Bye now." Arileen was like a mother to Blake. He loved her forevermore. She'd raised him. She was turned into a vampire long before he was, however. She taught him everything he knew about vampire customs, that's how he knew what to look for in a sim to tell whether they were a vampire or not. That's how he knew what Ivy was.

It was still evening hours, so they would have to wait until sunset before they headed out. They quickly headed inside before they possibly lost their abilities temporarily, that's what too much sun does to you. It was Sunday, and almost 5pm, so they headed into their Jacoban church, and awaited the priest's arrival. Then they could go riding. Blake sat in the priest's chair watching his favorite women. They were so elegant, and stunning. It was unreal. He was happy that he had Ivy, but having his grandmother there made him all the more happy. Maybe he wouldn't be so mean now? Nah, he's already damaged. ;)

Finally their priest arrived, and they all sat down for a nice sermon. Then it was night, and Blake led Ivy out to the horses and saddled them up.

Ivy "I hope we have more times like these, Blake," Ivy said as they rode through the forest.
Blake "Me too. I hope they're always with you." They both looked at each other and smiled.

Their celebration was short lived, though. A striking woman with pale features, hair like Blake's, and an eye patch ran up to them. They got off their steads and confronted her.
Woman "You there! Vampire! What're you doing in this town?"
Blake "Umm. Living?"
Woman "I can fix that." The woman lunged at Blake, but Ivy pulled her back.

Ivy "Don't you dare to harm your King!" Ivy pulled her down to the ground, and Blake watched the fight eagerly. The woman was knocked unconscious. Blake smiled at his fiance, picked up the woman, and hefted her onto the back of his horse. Then, they walked home together.

They took her in the prison cell, which was now empty due to Elaine's "promotion." Ivy checked her for anything to identify her and spit on her as she did so. She found a snake armband on the girl's hand, and earrings in her ears. She looked on the inside of the band. It read, "Alexandra Dragomir of The Scarlet Snake." Ivy tossed it over to Blake.
Ivy "Do you know what this means?"
Blake "No. Should I?" Ivy shrugged. Even she didn't know. They decided to save the question for an older, more experienced vampire.. Blake's grandmama. After that they searched her down for any weaponry. She was holding a dagger with her, so they took it with them.

Elaine's baby was born soon after almost everyone had gone to sleep. Meet Dylan Ashen!

Familiar Voice "When were you going to tell me you were getting married?" Ivy turned and ran to her mother.
Ivy "When I invited you to the wedding." They hugged. "Oh, where's Daddy? You all have to meet Blake!"
Addy "He's asleep. He was exhausted from the long drive over here."
Ivy "Well. I want you all to be there when you meet him. So we will have to wait until morning." Addy nodded and Ivy went outside to see her sister, Miranda.

Ivy "Miranda!" Ivy squeezed her tight. "I missed you!"
Miranda "I missed you too, I couldn't miss my sister's own wedding though!"
Ivy "So where's that handsome stud you told me about on the phone?" Miranda laughed.
Miranda "His name is Jacob Kyle, and he went to bed, he was tired. But I wanted to see you first."
Ivy "Oh. Well, you need to help me get ready for my wedding. It's tomorrow!"
Miranda "I can't wait!" Then Ivy, Miranda, and Addy left for their chambers, awaiting the morning.

On the day of the wedding, Ivy woke up first. She arranged the Jacoban church the way she saw fit for a wedding, and came back home. The wedding was to be at 3 pm, that way everyone was ready and on time. Ivy quickly got bored and was very nervous and excited at the same time. She decided to age up Dylan early. It turned out that Dylan got golden eyes, pale complexion, and black smokey hair. His skin color wasn't that surprising, however, since it's typical to his Occult. He turned out a Vampire, that is. A very special vampire, a Prince.

Ivy then continued to pass time by teaching Dylan to walk, and talk. She hoped everyone else was up and getting ready.

Elaine continued her daily duties as a new member to the servants group. She wondered about her little baby, but she honestly wanted nothing to do with him because it reminded her of how she came to be this way.

Gege Anne, a fellow servant from France, decided to help Elaine out since she was already finished with the house cleaning duties.

Addy & Anthony McKnight

Miranda McKnight, her boyfriend Jacob Kyle, Arileen Ashen, and servants

Addy & Anthony McKnight, and little Dylan Ashen

"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered together here in the sign of the Watcher – and in the face of this company – to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony, which is commended to be honorable among all men; and therefore – is not by any – to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly – but reverently, discreetly, advisedly and solemnly. Into this holy estate these two persons present now come to be joined. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together – let them speak now or forever hold their peace," the Priest said. Nobody disagreed to the marriage, then he continued. "Very well. Do you, Ivy McKnight, eldest daughter of the Addy McKnight clan, take Blake Ashen as your loving husband?"

Ivy "I do."
Priest "Do you, Blake Ashen, only son to the Ashen crown take Ivy McKnight as your faithful wife?"
Blake "You know I do." They smiled at eachother as if in a trance.

Priest "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Ashen!
Ivy McKnight Ashen & Blake Ashen

It was already night by the time they got outside to eat their buffet meal. Of course Ivy and Blake sat in the royalty newlywed seats. The others filled in the tables next to them. They had a great time, all were talking, laughing and getting along.

Ivy agreed to let her sister, Miranda, use her spare crown. She wanted to feel like a princess.

Once everyone had finished eating, Ivy approached Miranda, and her mother.
Ivy "Did you enjoy the wedding, Miranda?"
Miranda "Yes."
Ivy "Good. See, Mom.. Her dress wasn't too revealing!"
Addy "Yea, yea, yea"
Miranda "Hahaha"
Ivy "Did YOU enjoy the wedding, Mom? You seemed to be in a happy mood."ad"Yes." Ivy smiled, took her sister's hand, and led her to where the horses were waiting for her and Blake.
Ivy let her sister spend most of their time with the horse because she knew she loved horses. Then she pulled her into a tight hug. "You can visit me anytime, Miranda," she said before going to Arileen and asking her about the text written inside of the armband.
Arileen "My God, where did you get this?"
Ivy "Off of a girl that attacked us. She's in the basement, in the prison cell."'
Arileen "Don't tell Blake. We don't want him knowing anything of this unless we're in immediate danger." Ivy nodded and Arileen pulled her into a more private corner. "This is worn by a member of The Scarlet Snake. The Scarlet Snake is a group of very powerful, dangerous vampire hunters. They are very skilled, and very deadly. Many have died by their hand."
Ivy "That girl didn't seem too powerful to me."
Arileen "Never judge a book by it's cover."
